FIRST AID

This is a credentialed course specially designed to train those responsible for children's health and safety. It is backed by comprehensive state-by-state research and is formatted for instructors to customize it to include all topics required. Course modules cover first aid for medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies, and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in all ages. There is a module devoted to asthma including care of the child with asthma, the medications prescribed for these children and the use of equipment necessary to deliver their specific treatment.
